Drake London Tonight, Parker Washington + Two Early Waiver Names

TNF, a couple things from Tuesday’s pod that still matter, what happened in our waivers, and two names I’m watching before everyone else gets to them.

Waivers are done. Now we have to make actual lineup decisions.

For Thursdays, the plan is pretty simple: take the conversations from Tuesday that still matter, update anything that’s changed, and get a little ahead on next week.

Tonight starts with Drake London.

I don’t need a monster game. I just want to see the volume come back.

Another four or five targets and I’m worried.

Eight, nine, 10 targets and we can probably forget the first two weeks.

Stop asking us about Parker Washington.

The conversation has changed pretty quickly.

Two weeks ago: is Parker real?

Now: what would you actually trade him for?

The Ringer even got into names like Pickens, London and eventually Justin Jefferson.

For us, it’s simpler.

Start him.

Is Diggs a sell high?

Stefon Diggs is WR9 through two weeks.

That split us a bit on Tuesday.

Fab has him as an every-week WR3/flex.

Rog and Nacc were more concerned. The targets are there, but it’s hard to expect this level of efficiency if he’s only running a route on 59% of the pass plays.

So I’m not dumping Diggs.

But if someone in your league is valuing him like the WR9 he’s been through two weeks, I’m at least seeing what they’ll give me.

Boston $41. AD Mitchell $5.

Our league went hard on Denzel Boston this week.

Boston: $41 in the Bush League
FAABLab median: $22
Typical winning range: $18–32

AD Mitchell went the other way.

Mitchell: $5 in the Bush League
FAABLab median: $14
Typical winning range: $12–20

Boston had the better fantasy game. Five catches, 95 yards and a touchdown on seven targets.

Mitchell had the more interesting usage.

So maybe the question isn’t whether $41 was too much for Boston.

It’s how Mitchell got through for $5.

Injuries to watch before Sunday

Puka Nacua: groin, didn’t practice Wednesday. Rams were still leaving the door open for later in the week.
Malik Nabers: shoulder, limited Wednesday.
Travis Etienne: limited with a hamstring injury.
Rico Dowdle: missed Wednesday and was spotted in a walking boot with the foot injury.
Jaylen Warren: not seen at Wednesday practice, injury was still undisclosed in the notes.
Denver RB mess: Jonah Coleman didn’t practice with the ankle issue, while Dobbins and Harvey were limited.

One stash before we go: Jordyn Tyson

Still out with the hamstring injury
Not someone I’m expecting to help this week
Worth checking if you have an open IR spot

This isn’t really a Week 4 waiver call.

But if someone got impatient and dropped him, I’m checking. I’d rather stash him now than fight for him once his return gets closer.

Sunday, Parker Washington is in the lineup.

Before Tuesday, I’m keeping an eye on Ted Hurst and checking if Jordyn Tyson is sitting there in an IR spot.
